Update: Vaccination requirements in the workplace

From 4 April 2022, Government vaccination mandates will be removed for some sectors. Businesses are also encouraged to pause any vaccination-related employment processes, and review their own COVID-19 work health and safety assessment against the latest public health advice.

Update: My Vaccine Pass to be voluntary

From 4 April 2022, businesses, such as events, hospitality and close-contact services, will not be required to use My Vaccine Passes.

If they wish, most businesses have the option of limiting access to their premises to people with a My Vaccine Pass (as a condition of entry).

Fair pay agreement

The Government has introduced Fair Pay Agreement legislation into Parliament. The system will bring together employers and unions within a sector to bargain for minimum terms and conditions for all employees in that industry or occupation.
