Transition support payment

COVID-19 financial support for businesses is changing as New Zealand moves into the traffic light system. A one-off transition payment is available for eligible business. Other support that may be available to you includes:

Business Travel Documents coming to an end

Business Travel Documents will no longer be used once the Auckland boundary opens on 15 December. Until then, existing boundaries and Alert Level 3 rules for business travel remain in place.

Letters for people waiting on My Vaccine Passes

Some people waiting to receive My Vaccine Passes have been sent letters from the Ministry of Health exempting them from having to show a My Vaccine Pass until 14 December. Businesses only need to sight these letters.
