More support for Auckland businessesExtra support will be available for Auckland businesses from mid-November, via a $60 million business support package. Eligible Auckland business will be able to apply for:
- advice and planning support,
- implementation of that advice, and
- health and wellbeing support.

New legislation is coming in at the end of November to mandate vaccinations for workers at businesses where customers need to show COVID-19 vaccination certificates. For other businsses, a new process will be created later this year about how to assess if work needs to be carried out by a vaccinated worker. In the meantime:
- encourage staff to check their vaccination records on My Covid Record.
- see guidance on how to make an interim risk assessment under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
